Every so often I like to do a whole site check – things like checking how many posts I have written, how popular each post is based on social interaction and comments, which links are getting the most clicks and so on.

This is so I can see what you as the reader wants. Something that I might find interesting may bore you to death, and after-all this site is dedicated to the reader – not me!

As I was looking through the traffic stats and social interaction on the posts to see which ones were the most popular and to my amazement there was a post that I had written quite a while ago that was getting an insane amount of traffic.

 

All it consisted of was 3 breakfast recipes.

Anyway, after sifting through my product reviews section I noticed that all my reviews were on products about exercise – none that reviewed any product that helped people with their nutrition.

So using that information, I went ahead, researched and bought some products. Now some of the products I bought were pretty awful to say the least. However, there were two programs that stood out to me – one of these being Xtreme Fat Loss Diet by Joel Marion.

Joel’s Xtreme Fat Loss Diet claims to;

  • Force your body into fat burning mode through Pre-Cheat Depletion
  • Allow you to tuck into your favorite fattening food’s whilst still triggering your fat burning hormones through Multi-Functional Cheat Days
  • Get rid of, flush and burn away any unwanted fat through specific timed exercise
  • Do it all in 25 days? 

 

Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Review – What Is Xtreme Fat Loss Diet?

Now when I first read through Joel’s sales page (which you can see here), I immediately thought “Not another hype sales pitch”. Anything that starts talking about ‘extreme’ or being able to achieve the ‘fastest’ fat loss instantly puts my guard up. I’ve worked in the industry and been around long enough to know exactly how health and fitness products are sold.

After researching further, my guard came down a little.

Xtreme Fat Loss Diet is based on a specific diet and exercise plan that lasts for 25 days – called strategic synergy. It works by combining the power of intermittent fasting, cheat days and strategic workouts to prime your body into the best possible state for fat loss. This is done in a 5 day cycle.

I know how well intermitted fasting works and how important having cheat days can be. Combine that with workouts that are specifically designed for how you are eating and you can lose a considerable amount of fat.

Okay so I’ve got the background on the program, now I wanted to know….

 

Who Is Joel Marion? …..and can I trust him?

When I was first researching what products I was going to review, I picked a few by authors I knew nothing about and a few by authors who I did know something about.

I tend to lean towards people I trust when buying things online, and that’s why I identified Joel as one of the people I would take a look at.

Now, it wasn’t Joel I directly lay my trust in. I actually first heard about Joel through Craig Ballantyne (Author & Creator of Turbulence Training and Home Workout Revolution). Craig is one of the few people I listen to in the fitness industry, so when he recommends someone I tend to have a lower ‘Wall-of-Trust’ up than if someone else was to do the same.

But with that said, I still like to know exactly who the person is I am buying a product from.

And that’s when this Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Review was born.

Joel started his fitness venture around the age of 19. When he started, he admits to falling into the same trap most people fall in to when the first take up fitness – long gym sessions. In fact he actually admits to spending 2 hours in the gym every day.

Anyway, after finally realizing he was doing something wrong, he decided to bite the bullet and hire a coach to help him out.

He went from spending 2 hours a day in the gym to spending 2 hours a week in the gym – only then did he start seeing results.

Like a lot of people who change their lives round due to health and fitness, Joel decided to go and get himself qualified. He is now a qualified personal trainer and sports nutritionist – with an honours degree in Exercise Science to boot.

Now onto his product – Xtreme Fat Loss Diet.

Xtreme Fat Loss Diet consists of 8 sections, most of which are written by Joel Marion himself and some which are written by others who work in the industry.

The main thing that stands out to me is the fact although the program is based around what you eat; he has also provided you with a training program to follow as well.

In this section Joel gives you a day-by-day program, that shows you exactly what to eat, when to eat and how to east it. If I’m being perfectly honest, he’s gone all out in giving us as much as we possibly need to succeed.

The Exercise & Training Manual

Most of your fat loss effort will be achieved through what eat. However if you are to follow Joel’s diet program properly you’ll need to be exercising accordingly as well. The program, put together by John Romaniello (author of Final Phase Fat Loss & Man 2.0 Engineering the Alpha), consists of 8 specifically designed workouts.

Training Manual

I’ve performed some of John workouts in the past, and I honestly say they were some of the best workouts I have done.

The Training & Workout Log Sheets

This part of the program was designed to make your life just that little bit easier. I have preached to my subscribers about the importance of recording your workouts down. The log sheets are templates which allow you to keep a record of each workout.

A Goal & Success Journal

Another thing that I try to get people to do is to keep a record of success (& failures) when trying to reach their goals.

As a personal trainer myself, I am very conscious about overloading someone’s brain when they come to me for help. There are so many roads and avenues people can take – and if you give someone too much information they’ll end up getting confused and taking no action what-so-ever.

Xtreme Fat Loss Review – The Cons

I’d say the biggest drawback with Joel’s program is the fact you will need to devote yourself to everything Joel asks you to do for the next 25 days. Now some people wouldn’t have too many obstacles in the way and could therefore complete the 25 days without diverting off course.

However other people such as those with children or someone with a heavy work-load might find it relatively hard to stay on track with everything – that’s not to say people who are a lot busier won’t be able to follow Xtreme Fat Loss Diet, but I do think it’s worth mentioning.

The other thing I think is worth mentioning is the supplements guide. Now you do not need any of the supplements that are listed in this guide (Credit to Joel, as he does mention this here). Just remember you can achieve great results without investing further in any supplements.

….and the Pro’s

If you’re a follower on my blog, you know I like to write about mindset, motivation and setting goals. I think that it’s important to set goals in order to be successful – but not just that, if you have ‘failed’ at reaching a certain goal you will be able to use your goal and success journal to see where you may have gone wrong – It’s something that should be included in every digital fitness product if I’m being honest. – The Success Journal does a fantastic job of keeping you motivated.

The reference guide was another pleasant surprise. A lot of products are written and presented in a big manual, and whenever you want to clear something up or revise something later on, you have to sift through pages and pages of words to find what you’re looking for.  With thehe reference guide everything is broken down into easy to read notes – A valuable time saver.

Lastly another great thing about Joel Marion’s Xtreme Fat Loss Diet is the quick start checklist. Once you have read over the whole program, you’ll want to get started straight away – and that’s where the this guide will come in handy.

The Big Question….Does It Work?

The big question is; “Does Xtreme Fat Loss Diet work?”

The quick answer is yes…however only if you have the time to do it. Like I mentioned above, you will have to plan the next 25 out and make sure you follow the program exactly how it is laid out – do this, and you will see results.

Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Review – Conclusion

When I first received an email about Joel’s fat loss program, the first thing that came to my mind was;

Not another hypey fitness product

But I honestly say after reading up about Joel, and going through the program, if you follow it properly, you will see some great results.

Although the program primarily focuses on what you’re putting in your mouth, it covers the other two sections of the Fat Loss Classroom formula very well – mindset & motivation and exercise.

Again, the program is probably not for everyone. If you think you’re going to struggle to find the time to implement the steps that Joel provides, then I suggest you try freeing up some time in you daily routine first,

However, if you are ready to commit for the next 25 days, you have the right head on and you have the right support network around you, then Joel Marion’s Xtreme Fat Loss Diet might just be what you have been looking for.

    I rarely leave ɑ response, but I did somе searching aոd wound սp here on your Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Review (by Joel Marion) – Could I ask a question please?

    I see a lot of these kinds of product released recently and I was just wondering whether exercise or diet was more important?

    One week a new exercise program will be released to the public then the next week you’ll have an eating program promoted – I’m sure you’ll agree that this can get very confusing to someone who is new to working out?

      Hi Marina

      Great question…..!

      A lot of personal trainers and health professionals have started to use the internet to sell their knowledge, hence the reason there’s been a the rise in the amount of digital products being sold (the ‘kinds’ of product your talking about)

      Now, there’s nothing wrong with this as long as the products are full of safe and highly effective workouts – but I agree with you it can be very confusing. Read Fat Loss Classroom and you’ll be fine!

      Regarding your question – If you wanted me to choose one over the other it would be your diet.

      That being said however I would highly recommend combining both together for the best results. I personally find it hard to just implement one or the other – something in my brain just says ‘You can’t do one without the other, you have to eat right and exercise right!’
