DO this 20 Minute trick to BURN 264 EXTRA calories after your workout (not exercise)

This is actually something I knew nothing about until a few weeks ago and if I’m being perfectly honest I never even thought about it.

Now it’s important to note that I only read up on reliable information when it comes to health and fitness – I will never recommend someone’s half baked information and I will never promote a product that I do not believe in.

The person I’m talking about goes by the name of Shaun Hadsall. Now for those of you that don’t know Shaun here’s a little background on the guy.

In 1998 Shaun 1st runner up Grand Champion Bill Philips Famous Body For Life™ contest, which then led him to building a growing his own personal training facility that went on to be voted in the top 10 best PT studios in the world – Shaun was also voted America’s ‘Most Fit’ Health & Fitness Pro by Club Solutions Magazine in 2008.

He’s in my ‘handful-of-five’ fitness professionals that I listen to.

Right so back on track…The 20 Minute Post-Workout Trick

Now this trick has nothing to do with supplements, meals or exercise for that matter. The great thing about this little trick is it also has other benefits as well, like relaxing the mind and flushing the body of harmful toxins.

Before I reveal to you exactly what this little trick is, here’s a quick list of the benefits;

  1. Flushes Toxins
  2. Helps Rinse and Cleanse Your Skin
  3. According to studies it can help regulate your sleep patterns
  4. Aids in recovery time after your workout
  5. Aids in helping to re-charge your bodies ‘batteries’
  6. And finally can almost DOUBLE the amount of calories you burn AFTER your workout

Drum roll please…….

20 minutes in a dry sauna

That’s right you can sit in a dry sauna, doing almost nothing and burn more calories. The reason for this is it raises your heart rate, meaning it enhances your post workout after-burn affect.

By now, if you’ve been keeping up with my emails you will know about the power of the after-burn affect – it’s basically where your body burns calories after you stop working out.

So next time you finish your workout, if you have access to a sauna (most gyms these days have saunas) then go grab yourself a few minutes of relaxation.

If you’re not used to using the sauna for 20 minutes, then start with 5 minutes and work yourself up from there.
