I have a confession to make – last night I had a couple of slices of pizza. I’m sorry!Bodyweight Finishers 2.0 Review

Listen, I’ll admit, it was nice. In-fact it was so nice I may of had 3 slices…..and a slice of garlic pizza bread. All that bread man! Did I feel guilty after eating it? Yeah I did a little – but I knew there was one super-workout I could do today that would banish any fat.

The last part of that monster workout was actually a workout taken from Mike Whitfield’s Extreme Fat Loss Finishers 2.0 – Ab-noxious Extremes.

I’m feeling a little battered and bruised but I know that afterburn will be still doing it’s thing come tonight when I go to sleep so it’s all good!

So Mike Whitfield is back and this time round he’s back with his Bodyweight Finshers 2.0 program. As I have reviewed a lot of Mike’s programs before I think it’s safe to say we all know Mike’s finishers work very well. So with that said, I’m going to keep this review under 1000 words!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with what a ‘finisher’ is this one’s for you;

A ‘finisher’ or ‘workout finisher’ is a small workout which is added onto your original workout to maximize your fat burning potential and help trigger the afterburn effect.

The other great thing about workout finishers is that you can use them as stand-alone workouts, or you can also use the shorter workouts on you’re off days if you prefer.

Bodyweight Finishers 2.0:

Bodyweight Finishers: 9 Minute Workout Finishers

Here you are given the main meat in the program. Each workout follows a specific format, such as ladders or density rounds. If I was to recommend the more effective workouts in this manual it would defiantly be those that follow the density method. All workouts can be completed in less than 9 minutes (or there abouts).

Bodyweight Tabata Finishers: 4 Minute High Intensity Workout Finishers

Bodyweight Dirty 30 2.0

Tabata workouts are structured in 20-10 fashion. This means 20 seconds performing an exercise with 10 seconds rest. This is then usually repeated for 4, 8, 12 or 16 minutes. These workouts when performed correctly (using

proper exercise form) can have a huge effect on your fat loss efforts.

Bodyweight Dirty 30 2.0: 30 minute workouts

These bodyweight workouts are structured in a similar way to the workout I did this morning. Combining the power of both MRT and MCT polished off with some finishers the original version of Bodyweight Dirty 30 was an instant hit.

Note: MRT: ‘Metabolic Resistance Training’ and MCT: ‘Metabolic Conditioning Training’

Lastly we are also given videos to accompany the workouts. Here we are given some challenges, supersets and circuits. This PDF is more of a program to help you get started.

Cons

This is not something directly against Mike or any of his bodyweight workouts / finisher programs but something I would like to see more of is having each workout and exercise picture all on one page. Yes, it would take a bit of editing and would probably mean repeating a few pictures but wouldn’t it make it so much easier navigating through the PDF?

Pros

That being said however, the addition of the videos this time round gives us more to follow along with. Also videos can show you more detail than a picture. Have an smartphone? Watch them while you workout.

I like the fact that although Mike has built most of his programs around the workout finishers idea, he still gives us a 4 week program to use. Again you don’t have to use this PDF, you could just plug all the finishers into your current workouts if you so wish – all depends on what your personal goals and plans are.

Is Bodyweight Finishers 2.0 for Beginners or for the more advanced?

Usually a program caters for either one or the other, however Bodyweight Finishers 2.0 is designed in such a way where it progressively walks you through each stage. If you really wanted to you could start just by using each workout finisher and gradually working your way up to more advanced workouts – again all depends on your own personal goal and if you’re constricted by any time frame such as an upcoming wedding for example.

I would recommend Bodyweight Finishers 2.0 to almost anyone. If you aren’t nursing an injury or something similar then you should be all ready to rock and roll.

Conclusion

Right, so I’ve reached 800 words or so and I think I’ve mentioned everything that I needed to. Bodyweight Finishers 2.0 brings fat loss down a level or two from all that ‘mumbo-jumbo’ we’ve been hearing recently.

A lot of trainers, have started to get carried away with big words – and in some cases completely new made up words. And while that’s all been going on, people just like yourself have started to get confused.

Bodyweight finishers combines the effectiveness of density workouts with the time-saving attributes of Tabata training to give you a very simple and easy to follow workout program.

Of course, like all of the digital workout, fat loss and nutrition programs at the moment, there could be a little more to the layout of the PDF’s, but this doesn’t take away anything away from Bodyweight Finishers itself.

With the introduction of the videos Bodyweight Finisher 2.0 is defiantly a worthwhile investment at only $19 – (current special launch price only)
