4 Cycle Fat Loss Solution Review – Eat Carbs & Burn Fat?

There has been a lot of talk recently about whether or not eating carbs is a good thing when it comes to fat loss. I eat carbs and I manage to keep a really low body fat percentage – so why can’t you?

I get annoyed when I watch TV programs that suggest you should start cutting ALL carbs out of your diet if you want start seeing results.

If I’m being brutally honest I try to ignore all the false information pushed out in the media -but I know there are people out there so desperate to burn fat and look good that they will believe almost anything anyone tells them.

So the question really is…..‘Can you eat carbs & burn fat?’

There is so much information out there now that tells us that this just is not possible, but Shaun Hadsall, a nutrition author who is labeled as the “stubborn fat expert”, claims to have the solution to being able to eat carbs and still have a great body.  Not only that, he wants you to eat carbs to burn fat.  Most people will think that it is just not possible to eat foods like white rice, potatoes, and white bread and lose weight, but Shaun claims this can be done with the knowledge found in the 4 Cycle Fat Loss Solution.

With the 4 Cycle Fat Loss Solution, you learn about how your body works with high carb foods and why the information that you have been told about them is simply false.  The methods taught in the program have been proven over many years and are backed by science.

However, as with many info-based products (downloadable program), there a couple of ‘facts’ they outline on their program page. I have now decided to answer these facts because as I have noticed, a few people have taken advantage of this and have started claiming some iffy facts just in an effort to take your hard earned cash.

The way the review will go, is I will sum up in my own words what Shaun claims on the sales page then answer whether or not this fact is true.

Fact 1: Truth about Fiber:  There are lies that have been told for years by the fitness and weight-loss industry.  Take for example the lie that brown rice is so much better for you than white rice because of its fiber content; while it is true that white rice has had the fiber removed from it, if you tried to get your fiber from brown rice you would be racking up the calories.  It actually take five cups of brown rice just to get half a day’s worth of fiber.

What do I think?

This is something I have read up about a lot in the past and Shaun really explains it very well here. He is completely right in what he is saying in regards to the extra calories you could be racking up. You may well be getting that nice little bonus of fiber with your rice but you may also be consuming more calories than thought.

 

Fact 2: Truth about the glycemic index:  Another fallacy is the glycemic index.  It is a hoax because it gives all foods a number, but it doesn’t take into account the foods you eat with it.  If you eat a higher glycemic index food like white rice with other foods and understand the portions, then the glycemic index has no real meaning.  Carbs with a lower glycemic index number can be good for you, but the index numbers can be misleading.

What Do I Think?

I remember back in college when I was studying to become a trainer, that the whole glycemic index did seem a little dodgy. I mean attaching a simple number to a food does seem a little close minded. With things like nutrition there are so many variables to take into account.

Although I do believe Shaun has jumped on the bandwagon from recent media coverage on this subject, what he’s saying is completely true.

Fact 3: Truth about Carbs:  Also, our bodies need glucose like what is found in white starches.  It is used by all of our body’s cells and we actually need it to function.  It is actually our number one source of fuel.  High carb foods even suppress your hunger so you can stay in control.  If you eat more carbs, like white rice, in a specific way as outlined in the 4 Cycle Fat Loss System, then you actually lose more fat.

What Do I Think?

I think it’s important to state here that while what Shaun is saying is correct, eating too many carbs will increase your chances of pilling on the weight.

Negative Aspects of 4CFLS

I know 4 Cycle Fat Loss Solution is a product based on the nutrition side of fat loss however I would have liked to seen a more complete workout program. He does include an exercise guide and the ‘7 Days Ab Targeted Interval Solution’ but I would have liked to have seen more in-depth workout program.

That said the ‘7 Days Ab Targetted Interval Solution‘ is decent workout guide to get you started.

However, after looking through Shaun’s Hadsall’s fat loss program I can honestly say it’s a breath of fresh air to see someone taking the time to develop something that not only solves people’s problems but to also do it in a way where they don’t have to sacrifice their favorite food.

Not only that but as you will see below Shaun also offers some seriously cool bonuses, things like ‘Fat Loss Motivation & Time Management’ & the ‘Success Guide & Food Journal’ really stood out. Those two just re-enforced what I originally said that Shaun loves riding that positive wave!

Another great positive from the program is the time frame in which you are given. As the name suggests there are 4 cycles strategically put together allowing you keep seeing results while staying motivated all the way through.

Quick Side Note!: This next bit of the review is probably the biggest change undertaken in regards to the structure of the reviews. After talking to a lot of people I quickly realized that a lot of you had been stung with ‘dud’ programs – so really you want to know whether or the program in question will get you results. So taking that into mind I decided it would be better to put the program under scrutiny early on in the review and give you my honest opinion on whether or not you should go ahead with purchasing it.

After going through everything above, I can safely say that I would defiantly recommend Shaun Hadsall’s 4 Cycle Fat Loss Solution – so with that said, if you are still interested in learning more about Shaun’s fat loss program then read on.

      Thanks for your comment! Great question. Although they are both ‘diet’ and nutrition programs they are slightly different in the goals they are trying to achieve.

      XFLD is more of a quick 25 days program that is great for some purposes such as trying to lose that extra bit of fat you can’t move.

      Shaun’s, 4CFLS is more of a sustainable nutrition programme. Personally to start with I would defiantly go with Shaun’s 4 Cycle Fat Loss Solution.
